Booking requests
When you submit a request, Precision Auto Detailing collects your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, selected services, service address, preferred appointment date and time, and any notes you provide. I use this information to respond, discuss pricing and availability, and arrange your detail, send booking updates when email sending is enabled, and provide appointment calendar options.
How information is handled
Booking information is stored by the website’s hosting and database services. The owner dashboard restricts access to the website owner’s signed-in account. Request metadata is used to limit repeated submissions. Please avoid including payment information or other sensitive details in the booking notes.
Website analytics
The site records page views, approximate unique browsers, browsing sessions, the referring website’s hostname, and whether the browser uses a mobile or desktop layout. A random browser identifier is kept in local storage for up to 180 days, and a session identifier is kept for the browser session. The database stores keyed hashes of these identifiers, without your name, email, service address, or raw IP address in analytics records. These counts help me understand website activity; they are not used for advertising. Clearing or blocking browser storage can affect counts.
Emails and calendars
When booking emails are enabled, appointment details and recipient email addresses are processed by the configured sending service (Google Apps Script using the owner’s Google account, or Resend) to send receipts and confirmations. Email attempt records are kept to report sending status and avoid duplicate messages. Google’s privacy policy applies to Google sending. Use of Resend is subject to its privacy policy. Calendar links and files contain appointment details and the service location. An event is added only when you save it to your calendar. Keep your private booking link safe: anyone with that link can view its appointment details.
Google reviews and external links
This website displays Google reviews through an Elfsight widget. When you approach the reviews section, your browser connects to Elfsight and its content providers to load the widget and review content. Elfsight may process your IP address, browser and device information, and use a cookie to count widget views. See Elfsight’s privacy policy. Google’s Privacy Policy applies to its services. Review text and ratings aren’t saved in this website’s database. Links to Google Maps and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy practices.
Instagram posts and reels
If the Instagram gallery is enabled, featured public posts and reels are embedded using Instagram’s player. When the gallery loads, your browser connects to Instagram, which may process connection information, use cookies, or request that you sign in according to its own settings. Instagram controls content availability and playback. The website stores only the featured post links and optional titles, rather than copies of the Instagram videos. See Instagram’s privacy policy.
Automatic Instagram gallery
If the automatic gallery is enabled, the website requests the owner’s connected public Instagram feed from Behold. Post captions, media links, and availability information are cached temporarily to keep the gallery updated and reduce feed requests. Your browser loads photos and videos from the media hosts identified in that feed, including Meta’s media servers and Behold’s image servers. Videos use this website’s player and do not use Instagram’s sign-in interface. Media availability depends on Instagram and the connected feed. See Behold’s privacy policy. The website does not collect your Instagram login details.
